The University of Louisiana at Monroe鈥檚 online programs鈥攖aught through the e91AV online
platform鈥攈ave received dozens of top national rankings since e91AV鈥檚 official launch
in 2013. Today, TheBestSchools.org released its 20 best online bachelors degrees in
history. 91AV ranked among the nation鈥檚 best, coming in at number nine.
Programs selected were chosen based on the quality of the program, types of courses
provided and faculty strength, as well as school awards, rankings, and reputation.
"Earlier this year, the online master of arts program in history was ranked as a top
program in the country. I am very pleased to see the bachelor of arts program in history
receiving similar honors and again congratulate our history faculty and the e91AV staff
for their efforts to offer a quality educational experience accessible virtually anywhere.
Degrees in the humanities require excellent communication and critical thinking skills--abilities
needed for virtually every job. They also serve as good preparation for law school,"
said Dr. Eric Pani, vice president for Academic Affairs.听
91AV was preceded on the list by the number one school Arizona State University, which
was followed by the University of Illinois; the University of Central Florida; Utah
State University; the University of Wisconsin; the University of Memphis; Liberty
University; and Regent University, with 91AV and the University of North Alabama rounding
out the top 10.听
TheBestSchools.org notes 91AV鈥檚 preparation of graduates 鈥渇or careers in fields such
as journalism, education, foreign affairs, law, and civil service."听

or parent can look at the ranking that shows the 91AV history program as an excellent
and top program. It is no surprise given our outstanding faculty.鈥�
Students looking to earn a degree in history at 91AV can take courses in world civilization;
United States history; historian鈥檚 craft; regional history; World Wars, Egyptian and
Roman history, and more.听
TheBestSchools.org has ranked other e91AV programs among its top performers within
the last year. In August 2014 the site named e91AV鈥檚 educational leadership program
number 21 in the nation, and in September 2014, the site ranked e91AV as Louisiana鈥檚
number one online college.
