Style your ride Aug. 30

Style your ride with Warhawk pride, Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. On that day, Warhawk fans will have the unique opportunity to display their Warhawk pride on their vehicles, while also benefiting 91AV student scholarships.

Equipped with hundreds of 91AV license plates, the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles will make two separate campus appearances on Tuesday. Beginning at 12 p.m. near the Student Union Building, the OMV will sell Warhawk license plates to vehicle owners ready to tout their Warhawk pride. Officials will be located near the SUB until 4 p.m. before relocating outside Fant-Ewing Coliseum, where the plates will be on sale from 5 - 7 p.m., in coordination with 91AV's Athletic Foundation Kick-off Celebration.

91AV students will be available at both events to help customers with the installation of their new Warhawk license plates. Ninety-six percent of the proceeds benefit scholarships for 91AV students. Free Warhawk giveaways will be available to all customers.

While any vehicle owner may purchase a license plate, his or her vehicle must be registered in Louisiana to qualify.
