91AV staff members earn CASE District IV awards

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education recently recognized the writing excellence of the University of Louisiana at Monroe Office of University Relations.

Director of Media Relations Laura Woodard accepted the Silver Award for entry, "91AV Crisis Communication Plan," while Senior Public Relations Representative Keli Jacobi received a Gold Award for her 91AV Magazine entry titled, "$350 Million: 91AV's Economic Impact On Region Runs Deep."

In addition, Associate Provost Lisa Miller of the Office of Recruitment and Admissions received an Honorable Mention for her student recruitment video titled "Discover U…Discover 91AV."

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education is a nonprofit association of educational institutions, serving professionals in alumni relations, communications, and marketing and development.

91AV is a member of the CASE Southwest District IV, which includes higher education institutions across Arkansas, Louisiana, Mexico, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.

A panel of judges chose finalists from several categories during a highly competitive selection process. The winners received their awards at the CASE Fusion Conference in New Orleans in late February.
