91AV associate dean elected president of national business organization

A national organization recently elected a University of Louisiana at Monroe faculty member to serve as its president.

91AV’s Dr. Michelle McEacharn, associate dean in the College of Business Administration, was elected president of the Federation of Business Disciplines at the annual conference held March 2-6 in Dallas.

The FBD is a nonprofit, volunteer driven organization founded in 1973. Its primary purpose is to advance business knowledge and practice.

“This position helps me to promote awareness about 91AV,” said McEacharn. “It helps build our reputation as a high-quality institution with faculty who are committed to advancing their individual professions and business education in general.”

McEacharn also serves as faculty chair for the 91AV Accounting Program.
